GAINFORD, Rt Hon 4th Baron 1926-2022

From the Times of 25 March 2022: PEASE George, 4th Lord Gainford, on 12th March 2022, aged 95, peacefully at Moncreiffe Care Home, Perth. A Quaker meeting on 6th April at 3pm in his own house.

He was s of 2nd Baron GAINFORD 1889-1971 and Veronica Margaret 1900-95 d of Sir George John William NOBLE of Ardmore 2nd Bt 1859-1937 and his former w Mary Ethel WALKER-WALTERS c1875-. He m 1958 Flora Daphne 1924-2010 d of Neville Alexander DYCE-SHARP 1884-1942 and Flora 1897-1983 d of Allan Reginald MACDONALD scion of that Scots gentry family of Clanranald, and had a son and two daus.  His son succeeds him:

[Rt] Hon CHRISTOPHER ADRIAN PEASE [5th Baron GAINFORD] has yet to establish his claim & appear on The Peerage Roll, b 1 Feb 1960, unm.

I think Flora Macdonald b 1897 d 1983 must have been the sister of Allan Reginald Macdonald of Belfinlay  - perhaps twin?

According to thepeerage.com, the children of Allan Reginald Macdonald, 10th of Belfinlay and 3rd of Waternish, and Edith Bayne include:

    Allan Reginald Macdonald, 11th of Belfinlay and 4th of Waternish, b. 10 Mar 1897, d. 1972
    Flora Macdonald, b. 10 Mar 1897, d. Apr 1983

So indeed, twins.
