He was s of Sir Andrew Barkworth WRIGHT KCMG CBE MC 1895-1971 and Rosemary CStJ d of Geoffrey BARRETT. He m 1967 Henrietta Elizabeth b 1944 d of Lt-Cdr Hon John David HOTHAM DSC RN 1911-62 (bro of 7^th Baron HOTHAM 1899-1967, both being 2xgt gs of 2^nd Baron HOTHAM 1737-1814) and as her 1^st h Aileen 1916-2009 (her 2^nd h was an ABEL SMITH descendant and the widower of Hon John Hotham’s sister Hon Elizabeth Hotham) d of Capt Harry COATES 1873-1915 and Ethel Rose Gray EDWARDS 1884-1978, and had two daus as above.
