Jean Baroness Sackville (c1922-2009)

Jean Baroness Sackville, who died 8 February, 2009, aged 86, was the
widow of (i) Maj Sir Edward Imbert-Terry, 3rd Baronet, and (ii) the
6th Baron Sackville (1913-2004), of Knole, Sevenoaks, Kent. She was b
circa 1922 as Jean Garton, dau of Arthur Stanley Garton, of
Danesfield, Marlow, Bucks, and married firstly, Sir Edward Imbert-
Terry, 3rd Baronet, in 1944. He died in 1978. She married secondly, in
1983, as his 3rd wife, the 6th Baron Sackville, who died in 2004. She
leaves a son, Sir Michael Imbert-Terry, 5th Baronet (b 18 Apr 1950),
and two daughters, Carolyn (b 1947) and Alison (b 1952). Her elder
son, Sir Andrew Imbert-Terry, 4th Baronet, predeceased her in 1985.
