SPROT
On 27th May 2010, peacefully, in his 100th year, Major John Sprot, of
Riddell, MBE TD. Beloved brother, uncle, great uncle and great great
uncle. Funeral Service at Lilliesleaf Kirk, Nr Melrose, Scottish
Borders, at 1.45 p.m., on Tuesday 1st June. Family flowers only
please.
He was a scion of the Scots gentry family SPROT of Riddell,

Brother. Their mother was Meliora dau of Sir John Adam HAY of Haystoun
9th Bart. The Whitelaw's 2nd dau was named Carolyn MELIORA after her
grandmother.
