Beloved husband of Toria, father of George and Ellie, father-in-law of Charlotte and Patrick and devoted grandfather to Poppy, Cecilia and Laurie. Private cremation. He was s of Stanhope Edward FURBER 1908-87 (s of Edward Price FURBER CBE 1864-1940) of Winkfield, Berks by his 1937 m reg Q3 Berks to Joscelyn Orme 1911-2007 d of Lt-Col H L SCOTT of Hawthorn Lodge, Bracknell, Berks. He m 1979 (Vic)Toria Cecilia b 1951 d of Cdr Thomas Frederick Philip Urquhart PAGE 1918-94 (s of Sir Leo Francis PAGE 1890-1951 sometime head of that gentry family of Newton House  and (Edith) Violet LODER-SYMONDS 1891-1973 scion of that gentry family f/o Hinton Waldrist) and Lady Cecilia Norah STOPFORD 1917-2014 d of 7^th Earl of COURTOWN 1877-1957 and his wife and third cousin Cicely Mary 1885-1973 d of John Arden BIRCH 1853-1896 and Charlotte Mary Leycester d 1935 d of Maj George Montagu STOPFORD 1828-60 (gs of 3^rd Earl of COURTOWN 1765-1835, gt gs of 3^rd Duke of BUCCLEUCH 1746-1812 (3xgt gs of King CHARLES II) etc etc) and Caroline Mary 1829-1915 d of FM Sir John Fox BURGOYNE 1^st & only Bt GCB 1782-1871 and Charlotte c1796-1871 d of Col Hugh ROSE d 1836 sometime head of that Scots gentry family of Holme, and had a son and a dau as above.
