Mr A.J. Longton and Miss G.E. Dickinson

The engagement is announced between Alexander, son of Mr and Mrs Nigel Longton, of Winslow, Buckinghamshire, and Georgia, daughter of Mr Mark Dickinson, of Newbrough, Northumberland, and Mrs Ming Buxton, of Barnes, London.

Georgia Eve DICKINSON (born 1987) is the youngest dau of Mark Chaytor DICKINSON (born 1951) by his 1st m (1978, div 1992) to Amanda Evelyn FRASER (born 1956).

Mark Chaytor DICKINSON is the son of Peter DICKINSON and Anne CHAYTOR, dau of Sir Edmund Hugh CHAYTOR, 6th Baronet (1876-1935). His second marriage is to a scion of the CHURCHILL viscounts, and therefore the wider SPENCER family.

Amanda Evelyn FRASER is the dau of Anthony Walkinshaw FRASER and Angela Mary Graham SHAW (born 1936), a scion of the FEILDEN baronets, the 1st & last DUNEDIN viscount, and the EDMONDSTONE baronets. Her second marriage is to Hon Timothy BUXTON, eldest son of the LP Baron BUXTON OF ALSA (1918-2009) and Pamela Mary BIRKIN (d 1983), a scion of the baronets of that name.

Thanks Henry. You just beat me to it in posting this! My only build is to say Mrs Dickinson's father is Air Cdre Anthony Walkinshaw FRASER RAF (b 1934), who appears in Who's Who.
