From the Telegraph of 8 March 2024: ROSE Georgina Isabel Dora, beloved wife of the late Major Hugh Lancelot St Vincent and mother of Arabella, Lauretta, Caroline, Alexandra, Roberta and Henrietta died peacefully at home on Tuesday 27th February. Funeral to be held at St Mary's, Crawley, nr Winchester at 12 noon on Friday 15th March. No flowers.

She was d of Col George PHILIPPI MC 1890-1933 of Crawley Court, Winchester by his 1922 m reg Q2 London to Isabel (Elita) Julia Maria 1897-1980 d of Chiliean parents Julio DE BITTENCOURT 1866-1947 and Isabel Victoria Aspacia SAVIRE 1866-1951. She m 1947 Maj Hugh Lancelot St Vincent 1916-2003 s of Eric Hamilton ROSE 1872-1947 (who he succ. as) head of that Scots gentry family of Leweston and Rosamond Mary 1895-1958 d of Edward Southwell TRAFFORD 1838-1912 scion of that gentry family of Wroxham Hall and his 2^nd wife Hon Eleanor Mary PETRE 1856-1908 d of 12^th Baron PETRE 1817-84 and Mary Theresa CLIFFORD 1823-95 (gd of 6^th Baron CLIFFORD OF CHUDLEIGH 1759-1831, etc etc), and had six daus as above (her 2^nd dau Lauretta ROSE 1949-2023, and 3^rd dau Caroline b 1953 m as his 3^rd w the LP Baron PEARSON OF RANNOCH b 1942).
