The engagement was announced 15 December, 2004, between Capt.
Christopher P. Goodwin-Hudson, Royal Green Jackets, second son of the
Reverend and Mrs Peter Goodwin-Hudson, of Bledington, Oxfordshire, and
Alice Louisa Hart Dyke (b. 1975), younger daughter of Capt. David Hart
Dyke, CBE, LVO (b. 1938), of Hambledon, Hampshire, scion of the Hart
Dyke Baronets (created 1677), by his wife Diana Margaret, daughter of
Sir William Henry Tucker Luce, GBE, KCMG, and sister of the Baron Luce,
GCVO, Lord Chamberlain to HM Household since 2000.
