Jean-Pierre du Bouzet was murdered at Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on 3 June 2015.
This was reported on the Nobiliana Forum in 2015, but no one (including me) had noticed the UK connection. His mother was Loraine Josephine Baker, of the Baker [now Sherston-Baker] Baronets.

In 2003 he was maintenance manager at Club Med in Ivory Coast. In this article he is mentioned giving evidence about a disupte between landowners and the resort.

I have not found any specific information about the circumstances or cause of his murder. With the names of his siblings given his identity is confirmed, even though it might seem unusual that he was still working as a maintenence manager in his 60s.
