From the Telegraph of 15 April 2025: STEVENSON-HAMILTON JenniferMary (née Habershon) died peacefully at home on 8th April 2025, aged 91. Jennifer is survived by her husband James, her children and her grandchildren. She was hugely loved and will be much missed. Funeral Service to be held at Hamilton Old Parish Church on Friday 25th April at 11 a.m., then afterwards at Fairholm. Donations, if desired, to the British Red Cross.

She was d of Rev Edward Francis HABERSHON 1886-1968 (s of Amy Burdon WEBSTER 1861-1942 (Mrs Edward Habershon) scion of that gentry family of Unthank Hall) and Norah May Fairlie 1900-92 d of Col Charles Fairlie DOBBS CIE CBE DSO 1872-1936 scion of that Irish gentry family and Margaret Eleanor JOPP 1874-1939. She m 1960 James Christopher b 1933 s of James STEVENSON-HAMILTON 1867-1957 (who he succ as) head of that Scots gentry family of Fairholm (Feudal Baron of Kirkton & of the Burgh of Barony of Kirkstyle) and Hilda 1901-79 d of Richard Vernon CHOLMONDELEY 1862-1918 scion of that gentry family f/o Condover and Hilda Georgina LEYLAND 1875-1969 scion of that gentry family of Haggerston Castle, and had 3 sons.
