He m 1975 Charlotte Antonia b 1939 d of Wade Toby CAULFIELD 1902-91 (5xgt gs of 1 Viscount CHARLEMONT 1624-71) and Philippa Mary 1911-96 d of Capt Henry Cyril Royds BROCKLEBANK CBE RN 1874-1957 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Childwall Hall and Honoria Caroline 1877-1960 d of Cdr William Henry LEWIN RN 1843-1920 of Down House, Frant, Sussex and Caroline 1844-1916 d of Cdr Edward George ELLIOTT RN, no issue.

Cdr William Henry Lewin and his wife were also the parents of Brig-Gen Henry Frederick Elliott LEWIN, CB, CMG (c.1873 - 1 XII 1946), the husband (married 26 II 1913) of the suo jure 3rd and last Countess Roberts, OBE.
