From the Times of 17 September 2019: HURD The Honourable Stephen Anthony passed away peacefully on 6th September 2019, aged 86. A thanksgiving service will be held on Friday 27th September, at 11am, at St John The Baptist, Mildenhall, Wiltshire...to which donations may be sent...
He was s of the LP Baron HURD (1901-66, father of the LP Baron HURD OF WESTWELL (b 1930)) and Stephanie Frances CORNER (1904-85). He m 1973 Pepita Lilian (c1945-2018) d of Lt-Col Walter George HINGSTON OBE (1905-92, s of Charles Alfred HINGSTON (1874-1959) and Mildred Alice PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE (1877-1961), scion of the RADNOR earls etc etc) of Ramsbury, Wiltshire, and Elizabeth Margaret (1917-2012) d of Brig Sir Clinton Gresham LEWIS OBE (1885-1978) by his 1916 m to Lilian Eyre WACE (c1890-1962), and had two sons.
