Beloved wife of Adrian (dec’d); Cherished mother of Peter, Belinda, Susan and David. Mother-in-law to Kathy, Sandy and Jane. Adored grandmother of Amelia and Arabella; Angus, Philippa and Juliet; Isabelle, Edwina and Fiona; Hamish, Georgina, Phoebe and Charlie. Daughter of Sir Adrian and Lady Betty Curlewis.

She was the dau of (His Honour Judge) Sir Adrian Herbert CURLEWIS CVO CBE and m 1957 Adrian Bryan POOLE b 1927 d ? scion of the Cooke-Yarborough (formerly Cooke) Baronets being descended from the 2nd son of the 2nd Bt and whose grandfather assumed the surname Poole in lieu of Cooke by Royal Licence in 1907.

Adrian Bryan Poole died November 2010, according to the Spring 2011 issue of Ut Prosim, the school magazine of the Wenona School, Sydney, N.S.W., where his wife was educated.

"Philippa Poole (née Curlewis) was born in Sydney and educated at Wenona Girls' School, North Sydney. She trained as a preschool teacher and graduated from the Sydney Kindergarten Training College at Waverley. She worked as a teacher in the inner city areas and was Director of Peter Pan Kindergarten for several years prior to her marriage in 1957 to farmer and grazier, Adrian Poole. Her home is at Dellawong in Wellington, New South Wales, and she has four children, Peter, Belinda, Susan and David [...]"
