From the Telegraph of 16 June 2022: HAMBRO Mary Robinson (Robin) née Boyer passed away peacefully at home, on 14th June 2022 finally reunited with beloved husband Rupert. Much loved mother of Jonathan and Flora and grandmother of Archie, Ollie and Willem. Family funeral. Thanksgiving service to follow.
She was d of Francis BOYER of Philadelphia. She m 1970 Rupert Nicholas 1943-2021 s of Jocelyn Olaf HAMBRO 1919-94 (s of Col Ronald Olaf HAMBRO 1885-1961 scion of that gentry family of The Hyde, and his wife & 1st cousin Winifred Emily RIDLEY-SMITH 1884-1932 scion of the SMITH of Midhurst gentry family (and thus related to The QUEEN and other notables through their common descent from ABEL SMITH the banker, of Nottingham, and 2xgt gd of 1st Marquess of BUTE 1744-1814 etc) and Anne Silvia MUIR d 1972, and had a son and a dau as above.
