Is she really of the same family as the Baronets? I cannot find her, nor her father Arthur George Cecil Trollope, nor her grandfather, Andrew Harvey Trollope, in the genealogies of the Trollope Baronets.

Online I have found an article as early as 2001 (which has been copied and pasted into several other articles, including Wikipedia) which calls her a "fifth-generation niece" of the great Anthony Trollope (who was definitely of the Baronets.

His only brother to have children, I think, was the writer Thomas Adolphus Trollope. He did have a sister who had issue, I think.

Does anyone know what was her relationship to the Baronets?

She's not in the index of the last print edition of DPB, so maybe her tie is tenuous at best.

Here's what appears to be her ancestry according to what I can quickly find in Ancestry:

Thomas TROLLOPE m Mary _
/
Joseph TROLLOPE 1756-1808 m 1782 Sarah CHINNER 1751-
/
George TROLLOPE 1792-1871 m Mary MANN
/
George Francis TROLLOPE 1817-95 m 1844 Constance HOWARD
/
Andrew Harvey TROLLOPE 1860-1952 m Caroline BISHOP
/
Arthur George Cecil TROLLOPE 1914-2003 m c1941 reg Q1 Glos. Rosemary HODSON 1919-2014
/
Joanna TROLLOPE CBE 1943-2025

The Times' obit of her describes her as 'an indirect descendant' of the novelist through her father Arthur, but doesn't show its workings for that connection.

Richard,
They can't get it right can they. She is not a descendant of Anthony Trollope-she may be a kinsman, in that they are both descended from a common ancestor.
