"Muriel Grace Stanhope, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Friday afternoon, January 27th (2017).

She was dearly loved and will be hugely missed by her family.

Born in Toronto and brought up in London, England, Muriel was a proud resident of both Bristol Mills and Walpole.

Her funeral will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the old Saint Patrick Church, Academy Hill Road, Newcastle.
