David Alphy Edward Raymond Peake 1934-2015

_. David Alphy Edward Raymond Peake, who died 7 September, 2015, aged 80, was a scion of that landed family, and was chairman of the merchant bank Kleinwort Benson.

He was born 27 Sept, 1934, son of Sir Harald Peake (1899-78), who was a younger brother of the 1st Viscount Ingleby (ext), by his 1st wife the former Countess Sophie Therese (Resy) de Baillet -Latour, daughter of Belgian aristocrat Count Henri de Baillet-Latour.

He married in 1962, Susanna Kleinwort (b 1942) scion of the Kleinwort baronets, dau of Sir Cyril Kleinwort (1905-80), by his wife the former Elisabeth Kathleen Forde, by whom he had issue, a son, Edward, & a dau, Katharine.

In 1976 he wife, known as Suki, inherited Sezincote, the late 18th century Moghul-styled country house at Moreton-in-the-Marsh, Gloucestershire. The property is now the home of his son, Edward, who was born in 1964.
