He was s of John HALLILEY 1912-83 (the actor John Le Mesurier, s of Charles Elton HALLILEY 1881-1964 gt gs of John ELTON 1784-1856 gf of 1st Baron ELTON 1892-1973) and his 1st w Josephine Edwina JAQUES 1922-80 (the actress Hattie Jacques d of Lt Robin Rochester JAQUES RAF 1897-1923 by his 1919 m reg Q4 London to Mary Adelaide THORN 1899-1980). He married 1st 16 Aug 1980 (Los Angeles) Robin J ROBINSON b 23 Oct 1956. He m 2nd Jules _ (see below).

...Robin Mark Le Mesurier Halliley was born in London in 1953 to Hattie Jacques (née Josephine Jaques) and John Le Mesurier (né John Halliley), from whom he said he inherited his good manners and passion for music. Robin and his younger brother Jake (né Kim) grew up in a house which was often full of lodgers, actors and au pairs, including one of Jacques’s gay friends who operated as an unofficial “mother’s help”. He remembered it as “a very gentle household where there was never a cross word”...
...His first marriage, to Robin Robinson, a “Playboy Bunny”, ended in divorce. He is survived by his second wife, Jules, an interior designer...
Robin Le Mesurier, musician, was born on March 22, 1953. He died of cancer on December 22, 2021, aged 68
