From the Telegraph of 29 August 2015: LASKEY Lady Perronnelle, died on 6th August 2015, aged 92 years. Wife of the late Sir Dennis Laskey..—Memorial Service at St Mary Magdalene Church, Loders on Tuesday 15th September at 2 p.m. Enquiries to AJ Wakely & Sons.
She was d of Col Sir Edward Philip LE BRETON (1883-1961), sometime head of that gentry family formerly of Loders Court, and Mary Gwendoline (1882-1966) d of Capt Edward Henry Bridgeman SAWBRIDGE (1840-1923), scion of that gentry family formerly of Coney Weston and East Haddon, by his wife a scion of the GLOSSOP gentry family formerly of Silver Hall. She m 1947 Sir Denis Seward LASKEY KCMG CVO (1916-87) s of Francis Seward LASKEY MC of Salisbury, and had a son and three daus.
Lady Laskey was a 2nd cousin twice removed of Lady DE BATHE, wife of Sir Hugo Gerald DE BATHE 5th & last Bt, but better known as Lillie Langtry (Charlotte Emily LE BRETON 1853-1929) the actress and favourite of King EDWARD VII.
Note the death notice spells Sir Denis' forename with two Ns. But BMD birth and death entries and numerous reference works and publications during his life spell his forename with one N.
