What exactly is the ancestry of Charles Wilfred Gordon?  Any connnection to the marquesses of Aberdeen & Temair or the marquesses of Huntly?  His four daughters all married well and the descendants are fairly well-connected;  his grandson Jonathan Derek Morley (brother of the Duchess of Beaufort) married 1stly Hon Kirsty Aitken, dau of the 2nd Baron Beaverbrook (her cousin is father of Jemma Kidd, now Marchioness of Douro) and 2ndly Davina Sheffield of the baronets (a relative of Samantha Cameron, and a former girlfriend of Pr Charles).
