She was d of Capt George Algernon PERKINS 1896-1980 sometime head of that gentry of Bure House and Marjory Emily 1900-92 d of Lt-Col Arthur Francis MORSE 1872-1959 scion of that gentry family f/o Lound and Annabel Marjory HAIG (gd of John HAIG 1802-78 sometime head of that Scots gentry family of Ramornie and f of FM 1st Earl HAIG KT GCB OM GCVO KCIE 1861-1928). She m 1952 Maj Stephen Richard MC TD 1913-82 s of Maj Richard TRAPPES-LOMAX 1870-1936 sometime head of that gentry family of Great Hockham and Hon Alice Mary Wilhelmina FITZHERBERT 1873-1955 d of Basil Thomas FITZHERBERT 1836-1919  (f of 12th & 13th Barons STAFFORD) and Emily Charlotte STAFFORD-JERNINGHAM 1835-81 (gd of 8th Baron STAFFORD 1771-1851, 2xgt gd of 11th Viscount DILLON 1705-87, 3xgt gd of 2nd Earl of LICHFIELD 1690-1742 of the 1674 cr, etc etc), and had two sons and two daus as above.

Her paternal grandmother was Meriel Gundrede Leighton, daughter of Sir Baldwin Leighton, 8th Bt.
