Count Edward Gustav (b 1983), s of Count Bertil Oscar BERNADOTTE OF WISBORG (b 1935, gt gs of King OSCAR II of Sweden) and Jill RHODES-MADDOX (b 1947, d of George RHODES and Dorothy MADDOX), by his 2011 m to Nathalie FREDIANI. Their son Count Leonardo Folke was b 2013 and 1st dau Countess Sienna Désirèe was b 2015.

Bertil Oscar Bernadotte's father was Count Folke Bernadotte (1895-1948), the United Nations mediator who was assassinated in Palestine, and his mother, nee Estelle Romaine Manville (1904-84), was an American heiress whose family fortune came from selling asbestos, back when asbestos was thought to be a fine product.
