From the Times of 6 March 2021: The Hon Ian James Crofton Peddie, QC, died peacefully on 26th February 2021 as the sun rose. Ian was well known as one of the country’s leading family silks — an excellent barrister with great intellect and tenacious curiosity. A remarkable, fun-loving character with a huge heart, Ian lived a full life as a proud and loving husband, father and grandfather “Grumps”. He died with his wife, Sue, and four children, Kate, James, Nichola and Tom, at his bedside. He will be deeply missed. [...] Memorial celebration of life to follow when we can.
He was s of the LP Baron PEDDIE MBE 1905-78 and Hilda Mary Alice BULL (1905-85). He m 1976 Susan Renee d of Edmund John Brampton HOWES of Barkham, Berks, and had two sons and two daus as above
