CHRISTIE-MILLER - DAVID GEOFFREY
died peacefully after a long illness on 11th December, aged 92. Loving
husband of Joan, adored father of Stephen and Diana and wonderful
grandfather of seven children. Private family funeral. Thanksgiving
service will be held at St Mary's Church, Henley on 7th January 2011
at 2.30 pm.

He was the son of Lt-Col Sir Geoffry CHRISTIE-MILLER KCB DSO MC TD DL
(1881-1969), scion of that gentry family of Clarendon Park formerly of
Britwell, and Kathleen Olive (1877-1965), dau of Ven John Henry THORPE
Archdeacon of Macclesfield, and Vicar of St George's, Stockport. He m
1st 1947, Helen (1892-1955, formerly Mrs Charles Wynne-Eyton), dau of
John BLANDY-JENKINS JP, of that gentry faimily of Kingston Bagpuize,
Berks, and Llanharan, Glamorgan. He m 2nd 1958, (Marion) Joan, dau of
Maj Oswald Bruce RYRIE of Nanyuki, Kenya and had a son and a dau by
his 2nd m (Stephen b 1958 & Diana Jean b 1962).
