Rupert James (b 1977) s of Maj Alexander Richard TROTTER CVO (b 1939), head of that Scots gentry family (14th of Mortonhall and 5th of Charterhall) and Julia Henrietta MBE (b 1946) d of Capt Sir Peter McClintock GREENWELL TD 3rd Bt (1914-78) and his wife a scion of the NORMANTON earls. He m 2011 Lady Louise Jane Therese MONTAGU DOUGLAS SCOTT (b 1982) d of 10th Duke of BUCCELUCH & (12th of) QUEENSBERRY (b 1954) and Lady Elizabeth Marian Frances KERR (b 1954) d of 12th Marquess of LOTHIAN KCVO (1922-2004). Their dau Molly Elizabeth Jane was born 2012.
