From the Telegraph of 7 March 2020: MICKLEM David Robert died peacefully aged 88 on 1st March. Funeral to be held at St Mary and St Lawrence Church, Great Waltham on Monday 30th March at 11am. No flowers please.

He was s of Cmdr Sir Edward Robert MICKLEM CBE RN (1891-1952) scion of the gentry family of that name formerly of Rosehill, and Sybil Ursula HEAD (1899-1970) scion of the HEAD viscounts and scion of (not descended from) the GOSCHEN viscounts. He m 1956 Sarah Caroline Georgiana MILBURN (b 1935), scion of the Bts of that name cr 1905 and of the TUFNELL gentry family of Langleys and the CHATTERTON Irish gentry family) and had a son and two daus.
