Alexander Mosley, aged 39, elder son of Max Mosley (b. 1940), himself
a son of the British Fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley by his second
wife Hon. Diana Freeman-Mitford (formerly wife of Hon. Bryan Guinness,
later 2nd Baron Moyne) is dead of a drug overdose.

inherited the barony from his aunt Irene, eldest daughter of Lord
Curzon for whom the barony was created with a special remainder.
Nicholas's mother was Sir Oswald's first wife Lady Cynthia Curzon.
(Mosley also had affairs with her sisters Irene, Lady Ravensdale and
Lady Alexander, according to several sources). Other half-siblings
are Michael Mosley and Vivien Mosley.
Max Mosley's elder half-brothers maternally are
1) Jonathan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne, whose son-in-law Robert
Fleetwood-Hesketh (second husband of his eldest daughter Hon Catherine
Guinness, former wife of the present Earl of Wemyss & March) also died
of a drug overdose as did other Guinness scions.
2) Desmond Guinness, grandfather of the model Jasmine Guinness.

According to these sources, he was an economist and restauranteur. He
was educated at Westminster School, graduated from Oxford and obtained
a Ph.D. from London. He then co-founded the Hereford Road restaurant
in Westbourne Grove two years ago with a schoolfriend and chef, Tom
Pemberton. According to friends, he had previously struggled with drug
problems, and is described in one article as a heroin addict. He
appears to have never married and left no known issue.
