From the Times of 9 Oct 2021: GILLETT/COX Alwyne Winifred (née Hay) passed away peacefully on 31st August 2021. She lived an extraordinary life and contributed much to UK society, within the City of London to friends and, most of all, her small family. Following a period of significant deterioration in her quality of life, she died with great courage and dignity in Zurich. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
She was d of James McDonald HAY. She m 1st 1953 reg Q3 London John LANT. She m 2nd 1963 reg Q4 London (as his 2nd w) Judge Albert Edward COX 1916-92. She m 2nd 2000 (as his 2nd w) Sir Robin Danvers Penrose GILLETT 2nd Bt 1925-2009.
