DEBRETTS CHANGES - EARL COMPTON

Hi i am new to this group & found this which might be of interest on the Debretts datebase which now includes an entry i found on who's who 2021:

Daniel Compton (Earl Compton) son of the 7th Marquess of Northampton married  as his 2nd wife Emilia Hungerford in 2017 & the Earl now has a son & heir: Hon Henry Douglas Hungerford Compton b.2018 and styled as 'Baron Wilmington'.

This is good news for the estates associated with the marquisate, in modern times there has been far too much abuse of tradition by those who seem to fail to realise that without such tradition; they would not have had the estates that they leave to their daughters instead of the next holder of the peerage.

Debretts database shows that the Earl of Uxbridge (son of Marquess of Anglesey married Katherine Rose in 2018.

From Companies House info it would appear that Katherine Rose are Lady Uxbridge's forenames rather than Forename/previous Surname.  She was born March 1990.  She is listed as Katherine Rose Paget, Lady Uxbridge and she and Lord Uxbridge were directors of a company (as stated in Debrett's database) Wildheart Escapes Ltd (formerly Wildhearts Escape Ltd) which had its registered office address as "Marquess of Anglesey, Plas Newydd, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Wales LL61 6DZ".  Lady Uxbridge was appointed a director on 28 Aug 2018 though the company was dissolved in March 2020.
