Dearly beloved wife of Angus and adored mother of Amanda, Lucy, Emily, and Kate. Grandmother, aunt, great aunt, mother-in-law, treasured by all. Funeral private. Donations, if desired, to RNID.
She was d of Sir (Robert) Ian Algernon FORBES-LEITH of Fyvie 2nd Bt 1902-73 and Ruth Avis 1897-1973 d of Edward George BARNETT of Northumberland. She m 1959 Angus Maitland b 1931 s of Brig-Gen Henry PELHAM BURN CMG DSO 1882-1958 scion of that gentry family f/o Adstock and Katherine Eileen Staveley STAVELEY-HILL 1903-89 scion of that gentry family f/o Oxley Manor, and had four daus as above.
