From the Telegraph & Times of 23 July 2022: VYNER-BROOKS Varlien Raymond, aged 88 passed away peacefully on Friday 15th July 2022. Adored and loving husband for 55 years to Elizabeth, proud father to Crispin, Henry, Charles and Merelina, appreciative father-in-law to Samantha, Ruth, Alice and Edward and a loving grandfather to his 13 grandchildren. He lived his life to the full with a deep faith, and was grateful for his countless blessings. ‘Never give up, always persevere’ will be instilled in us all forever. He was s of Reginald Henry VYNER-BROOKS 1900-66 by his 1933 m reg Q3 Essex to Eva E MILLER. He m 1967 (Gabriel) Elizabeth b 1940 d of Oswald Whitwell AINSCOUGH 1906-95 sometime head of that gentry family of Casterton Hall, and Gabriel Mary 1909-51 d of Thomas James FINCH of Fairfield, Ruff Lane, Ormskirk, Lancs, and had 3 sons and a dau as above.
