He was yr s of Bernard Henry Richard VAN CUTSEM 1916-75 sometime head of that gentry family & Mary 1919-89 d of Maj Edward Robert Francis COMPTON 1891-1977 (gs of 4th Marquess of NORTHAMPTON 1818-97) and Sylvia 1899-1950 d of Lt-Col Alexander Haldane FARQUHARSON 14th of that Scots gentry family of Invercauld 1867-1936 and Zoe Caroline 1871-1929 d of Sir Richard Courtenay MUSGRAVE 11th Bt 1838-81. He m 1st 1969 (div 2003) Sarah (Sally) 1948-2008 d of Alastair McCORQUODALE 1925-2009 scion of that gentry family f/o Cound Hall and Rosemary Sybil 1924-2015 d of Maj Herbert Broke TURNOR 1885-1979 sometime head of that gentry family of Stoke Rochford and as her 2nd h (her 1st was a s of 9th Baron Bernard) Lady Enid Victoria Rachel FANE 1894-1969 d of 13th Earl of WESTMORLAND 1859-1922, and had two daus. He m 2nd 2006 Lucy Hester CARTWRIGHT.

Zara van Cutsem, daughter of Geoffrey Neil van Cutsem and Sarah McCorquodale, married Henry Robert Anthony Noel, Viscount Campden, son of Anthony Baptist Noel, 6th Earl of Gainsborough.

From the Times of 21 Jan 2023: VAN CUTSEM A service of thanksgiving for the life of Geoffrey will be held in the Guard’s Chapel. Wellington Barracks, London... on Wednesday 19th April at 2pm.
