KING Margaret Murray Johnson King, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, died on June 24, 2012 at the age of 56. Mrs. King is predeceased by her parents, Marion Johnston Johnson and Thomas Ross Johnson Jr., and her son, Edward Luckett King, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Edward Luckett King; her two daughters, Louise Robinson King and Mary Hartley King; her brother, Thomas Ross Johnson III of Houston, Texas and her sister, Barry Johnson Parker of Daphne, AL. Murray was a 1974 graduate of the Julius T. Wright School for Girls and a 1978 graduate of the University of Alabama. Edward Luckett King Sr.

Edward Luckett King, 69, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was a UMS graduate, Class of 1970. Edward then went on to attend the Marion Institute, Ole Miss, and the University of Alabama. After college, Edward began working in the maritime industry as a captain of shipping vessels in the Gulf. When he decided to start a family with his wife, Murray Johnson King, Edward went into Operations Management, a field in which he worked for over twenty years. He loved to hunt, fish, and sail around the family’s Point Clear house. Edward’s favorite Saturdays were spent surrounded by friends, watching Alabama football – with his famous lucky wings for everyone to enjoy.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Murray Johnson King; son, Edward Luckett King, Jr; and parents, Dr. Robert Thomas King and Louise Robinson King.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Louise Robinson King and Mary Hartley Monson; and two sisters, Allen King Lee and Mary Hartley King [….]
