Sir Alan d’Arcy Stewart Bt, Ramelton

The death has taken place on Thursday, June 20 of Sir Alan d’Arcy Stewart Bt., One Acre Church Street, Ramelton.

A private cremation has taken place at the request of the deceased.

The family wish to thank Alan’s carers, doctors and the staff of Donegal Hospice.

He was the son of Sir Jocelyn Harry STEWART, 12th Baronet (1903-1982) and (m as his 1st w 1932) Constance Mary SHILLABER (d 1940). He m 1952 Patricia  TURNER and had 2 s and 2 d.

His elder son (Sir) Nicholas Courteney d'Arcy Stewart b 4 Aug 1953 has succeeded as 14th Baronet (subject to proving his claim).  He appears to be unm.

The heir presumptive is the new Baronet's brother Lindsay Stephen d'Arcy b 1956 who is m with a d and resident in NSW Australia

The 11th Baronet's younger son Malcolm Geoffrey (1908-1974) had a son Robin (b. 1948). Robin Gordon Alan has, according to my information, three sons, James Malcolm (b1978), Thomas Annesley (b1979), & William Francis (b1984)

The new (14th)  baronet, as per colinp's post, is  shown as Nicholas Courtenay STEWART, but in the list of Predecessors, his name appears as in colinp's post.

Also, as per that post, his brother, Lindsay, is the hp.

After his brother, next in line, would  appear to be the 2nd son of the 12th Baronet, Bryan Jocelyn (b. 1948), from County Tyrone, followed by his 2 sons, Carl Bryan (b.c. 1971) and  Ryan Damian (b.c. 1973)
