From the Times of 29 June 2024: GRAY Nicholas Anthony died peacefully on 24th June 2024, aged 90. He leaves behind a wife, three children and seven grandchildren.

He was yr s Sir William GRAY 2^nd Bt 1895-1978 and his 1^st w Josephine 1904-1943 d of William Henry EVELEIGH 1873-1957 and Josephine Louisa Maud _ 1883-1974. He m 1956 Amanda d of Harold William EDWARDS of Ashmore Gn, Newbury, Berks, and had a dau (Daisy b 1970 who is m with issue).

GRAY Nicholas Anthony Gray passed away peacefully in his sleep, four days after celebrating his 90th birthday. He was a devoted husband to Amanda for 67 wonderful years, a cherished father to Dylan, Barnaby and Daisy, and a beloved grandfather to Jack, Poppy, Florence, Jasmine, Ella, Ben and Joe. Nick had a distinguished career as a graphic designer, later transitioning to portrait artistry after returning to university in his seventies. His artistic talents, sense of humour and love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. A celebration of Nick's life will be held at the Chelsea Arts Club.
