According to Debrett's 2008, the new Baron remains unmarried. If he
doesn't marry and produce a male heir, the title will become extinct.

The late Baron's eldest son was much older (b. 1951). He died a year
before the birth of his half-brother. He was unmarried.

Born in 79 give him a chance, it is most fortunate that the second
baron married a second time anyway.
