She was d of John Arthur Pepys CHARRINGTON 1905-79 scion of that gentry family of Cherry Orchard and Barbara Haliburton 1906-76 d of Cyril Grant CUNARD 1867-1914 (gs of Sir Samuel CUNARD 1^st Bt 1787-1865) and as her 1^st h Beatrice Rhoda GIBBS 1870-1945 (gt gd of Antony GIBBS 1756-1815 who was gf of 1^st Baron ALDENHAM 1819-1907). She m 1956 Rt Hon Sir Tim(othy) Hugh Francis 1929-2011 s of Maxwell RAISON 1901-88 (cricketer & publisher) of The Old Rectory, Theberton, Suffolk by his 1926 m reg Q3 London to (Emily) Celia 1900-1936 d of Montague ATKINSON c1872-1935 by his c1894 m reg Q1 London to Emily PARKER c1868-1946, and had a son and three daus:
