According to the Gazette and Herald, Sir Charles Thomas LEGARD died on Feb. 7, 2025 at age 86.



He will be succeeded in the baronetcy by his elder son, Christopher John Charles (b. 1964).  

The new baronet is married with 2 children, including a son, Benjamin Fane John (b. 1995), who is the new heir apparent  He is shown as unmarried on DPB Online.

Sir Charles died peacefully on 4th February 2025, aged 86, husband of Caroline, father of Christopher, Edward and Louise and brother of William and Jimmy; grandfather of seven. The Funeral will be held at All Saints Church in Settrington on Tuesday 25th February at 2 p.m.
