The House of Lords Order Paper currently lists three peers who have given notice of retirement under section 1 of the House of Lords Reform Act 2014:
30 January: Lord Offord of Garvel. He was created a Conservative peer in 2021 and will be the shortest-serving peer to retire (closely followed by Lord Edmiston, who was created a life peer in 2011 and retired in July 2015). Earlier this month he became the Scottish leader of Reform UK.
28 March: the 5th Earl of Lytton. He succeeded to the title in 1985, was excluded in 1999, and returned in a Crossbench by-election (replacing Lord Monson) in 2011. He was of course expected to be excluded at the end of this session under the terms of the House of Lords (Hereditary Peers) Bill.
30 April: Lord Curry of Kirkharle. He was created a Crossbench life peer in 2011 on the recommendation of the House of Lords Appointments Commission, and will be 82 when he retires.
