Mrs Henryetta Simpson is the eldest child of David Alexander KEOWN-BOYD (27 I 1928 - 14 V 2007) and his wife (married 29 X 1959), Gillian Jean ("Gillie") BARCLAY (born 19 IX 1935), of that landed gentry family, of Higham.
David Keown-Boyd was the second son of Sir Alexander William KEOWN-BOYD, KBE, CMG (19 VI 1884 - 26 XII 1954), and was Sir Alexander's elder son by his second wife (married 1921), Joan Mary PARTRIDGE, MBE (24 I 1899 - 8 IX 1974), the youngest daughter of John Croker PARTRIDGE (1851 - 14 IX 1917) and his wife (married 22 IV 1885), Geraldine Harriet Colleton RENNIE (1864 - 1953), whose paternal grandfather was the civil engineer Sir John RENNIE, FRSA (30 VIII 1794 - 3 IX 1874).
John Croker Partridge was himself the eldest child of Frederick John PARTRIDGE (21 XI 1821 - 30 XII 1896), of that family, late of Bishop's Wood, Hereford, which, per BFI, last appeared in BLG in the 1921 edition, and his first wife, Henryetta CROKER (1823 - 1886), of that landed gentry family of Ballynagarde, County Limerick.
Sir Alexander Keown-Boyd was himself the eldest son of William KEOWN-BOYD (c.1853/4 - 7 II 1938) and his wife (married 1883), Isabella CAMPBELL (25 III 1857 - 26 IX 1937), and his father was the second son of William KEOWN-BOYD (1816 - 19 I 1877), MP (Conservative) for Downpatrick 1867-74, and his wife (married 1845), Mary ALEXANDER, whose great-grandfather, Robert ALEXANDER (died 27 III 1790) was a brother of the 1st Earl of Caledon.
