Some Cornock notes:

Ian Charles Cornock of The Tile House, Hadley, Worcs., chartered surveyor (A.R.I.C.S.), per internet sources 'on the board of A. & J. Mucklow Group Plc and Millennium Point
Property Ltd., Lead Director (Midlands Region), Jones Lang Lasalle'. He elder s. of Maj.-Gen. Charles Gordon Cornock (1935-), of Oranmore, Horseshoe Lane, Cranleigh, Surrey, late Colonel Commandant, Royal Field Artillery, C.B. (1988), M.B.E. (1974), bursar, Cranleigh Sch. 1989-95, and (m. 1962) Kay Smith.

Maj.-Gen. C. Cornock only s. (with a dau., Anne) of Gordon Wallace Cornock (1905-1978), of Alcester, Warwicks. [no probate I could locate for an address], Flt/Lt, R.A.F. Administrative and Special Duties Branch (WWII; Secretarial Branch 1947-) and (m. 1932) Edith Mary (1909-2000), dau. of Edward Keeley (1877-1950), of Vine Cottage, Alvechurch, Worcs., and Alice Jane (1876-1958), dau. of Harvey Burman (1851-1927), of Browns Farm, Birchacre, Beoley, nr Redditch, Worcs.

G. W. Cornock only s. (with a dau., Winifred Gertrude) of Ernest Charles Cornock (1876-1950), of La Casa, London Road, Cheltenham, Glos., solicitor's clerk and (m. 1902) Mabel Winifred T[h]eresa (1877-1970), dau. of Robert H. Mills (1843-), of High Street, Cheltenham, corn merchant.

E. C. Cornock eldest s. of Charles Cornock (1849-1916), of Dagmar Villas, Cheltenham, waiter, formerly domestic butler, and Emily, dau. of - Westmancote, of Leckhampton, Glos. [this concluded based on census records giving her mother and sister both as 'Westmancote'; couldn't locate marriage record].

Charles Cornock third s. of Richard Cornock (1800-[1862?]- see below), of Hasfield, Glos., farm servant, formerly farm labourer [presumably agricultural labourer] m. 1842, Harriet (1823-), dau. of - Bartlett. Richard Cornock was born at Berkeley, Glos. A 'Richard Cornock, Esq.' b. 1799 died at Hereford in 1864; given the geographical factors and lack of any evidence that the Cornocks, at this stage, could get away with claiming the status of 'Esq.', I discounted this.

I couldn't find anything much pertaining to Adrian Sapsford; company records indicate an Adrian John Sapsford, b. 1955, director of a technology company, but there isn't a corresponding U.K. birth record. The only records that appeared for an 'Adrian J. Sapsford' were 1963 and 1970 marriages in Essex, which presumably can't relate to the same individual given his birth year. Company records give an Oliver John Sapsford of the same address, with no birth date given; the 1988 birth record for an Oliver John Sapsford, mother's maiden name 'Doyle', given Richard's post, appears to be the right one. The 1988 marriage of 'Adrian Sapsford' and 'Carol P. Doyle' must be the correct one, however note no middle initial for Adrian Sapsford. An Adrian J. Sapsford was b. 1941, mother 'White', and an Adrian Martyn C. Sapsford b. 1968, mother 'Powell'. Presumably the Adrian Sapsford in question was therefore born outside the range of U.K. records.

Forgot to indicate the Adrian John Sapsford in company records as having a correspondence address at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, which, being 10 km from Ormesby St Margaret, was what suggested him to be the same individual.
