She was d of Brig Basil Charles TRAPPES-LOMAX 1896-1963 scion of that gentry family of Great Hockham and scion of the STAFFORD barons and Diana Mary Caroline SILVERTON 1907-95 scion of that gentry family of Minsteracres. She m 1959 John Edward Benedict b 1927 reg Q4 London s of Judge (Henry) Bensley WELLS 1891-1967 of Buckfastleigh, Devon and Angela Horatia Emma JAMES 1902-84 (descended from many peers - see below), and had two sons and a dau.
