From the Telegraph of 14 April 2022: NICHOLL Elizabeth Mary died on 8th April 2022 after a short illness, surrounded by her husband Edward and daughters Lucy, Katherine and Emily. She will be much missed by us all. Private cremation. No flowers or letters please.
She was d of Lt-Col James INNES 1915-2004 sometime head of that gentry family of Roffey Park and Hon Veronica Wenefyde Nefertari BETHELL 1917-2018 d of Hon Richard BETHELL 1883-1929 (s of 3rd Baron WESTBURY 1852-1930 and Lady Agatha Manners TOLLEMACHE 1857-1941 gd of 8th Earl of DYSART) and Evelyn Lucia Millicent 1884-1956 d of Col George Morland HUTTON CB 1834-1901 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Gate Burton, and Eustacie Emma Millicent ARKWRIGHT 1847-1931 scion of that gentry family f/o Sutton Scarsdale. She m 1st 1967 (div 1972) James Keith Alan b 1944 s of Col Anthony Arthur Keith RUGGE-PRICE 1914-97 (s of Sir Charles Frederick RUGGE-PRICE 7th Bt 1868-1953) and Joan Lisette Douglas PILKINGTON 1919-2006 scion of that gentry family of Reay, and had a dau Lucy Caroline b 1969 (w of Lord James William Eustace PERCY b 1965 s of 10th Duke of NORTHUMBERLAND KG 1914-88). She m 2nd 1973 Edward Rice s of Lt-Col Henry Rice NICHOLL, and had a further two daus Katherine Sarah b 1974 (m to a scion of the LODER Bts) & Emily Mary b 1977 (m to a scion of ANNANDALE & HARTFELL earls), all as above.
