From the Telegraph of 6 Aug 2022: WORDSWORTH Michael died peacefully in hospital after a long illness on 29th July in Portugal, aged 79. Devoted husband to Christine, beloved father to Giles and Zara and adored 'Papa' to Charlotte, Wizzy, Rory and Thea. A service of thanksgiving to be held in the Autumn.
He was s of Lt-Col John Gordon WORDSWORTH 1913-95 and Doreen 1920-2015 d of Hon Eric Brand BUTLER-HENDERSON 1884-1953 (s of 1st Baron FARRINGDON 1850-1934) and Hon Sophia Isabelle Butler MASSEY 1888-1977 (d of 5th Baron CLARINA 1837-1922). He m 1966 Christine Stella b 1943 reg Q3 Devon d of Arthur Frederick J LEAR 1910-68 by his 1940 m reg Q3 Devon to Amy Stella 1904-82 d of Ernest Warwick PRIDHAM 1875-1961 by his 1903 m reg Q3 Devon to Ethel Kate BOWDEN 1881-1946, and had a son and a dau as above.
