From the Telegraph of 13 June 2026: HANBURY Verena (née Kimmins) MBE, DL. Beloved wife of the late Ben and adored mother of Lucinda, James, Timothy, Simon and Marcus, much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Died peacefully at home on 30th May, aged 93. Private funeral, a service of thanksgiving to be announced for the Autumn.

She was d of Capt Anthony Martin KIMMINS 1901-64 scion of that gentry family f/o Marks Barn etc and Elizabeth HODGES 1907-92. She m Ben(jamin) John HANBURY 1934-2012 scion of that gentry family of Hitcham, and had 4 sons and a dau as above.
