From the Telegraph and Times of 30 November 2019: Mr E.R. Pease and Miss E.C. Narbeth - The engagement is announced between Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Christopher Pease, of Upper Woodcott, Hampshire, and Elisabeth, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Ian Narbeth, of Wivenhoe, Essex.

Edward Robert (b 1991) s of Christopher Berkeley PEASE (b 1958), scion of the Bts of that name, and gs of 5th Viscount PORTMAN (1898-1942) etc, and Mariana d of Robert SCRYMSOURE STEUART FOTHRINGHAM (1937-2012) of the Scots gentry family of that name of Murthly, and a descendant of King WILLIAM IV through the ERROLL earls.

Elisabeth Charlotte (b 1995 reg Q3 Essex) d of Ian Anthony NARBETH (b Dec 1959) by his 1985 (reg Q4 Essex) to Charlotte Clare WALFORD-WHITE (b June 1955).

The Pease baronets are among several peerage/baronetage/LG families descended from Cornelius Vanderbilt (1794-1877), the New York farm boy who amassed one of the world's largest fortunes through shipping and railroads. (Others include dukes of Marlborough and earls of Inchcape and Winchilsea & Nottingham.)
