According to a death notice in 'The Times' the 7th Earl of Clrendon died on 4 July.

He is succeeded by his only son George Edward Laurence Hyde Villiers
(born 1976). The new heir apparent is Edward George James Hyde
Villiers (born 2008). Next in line is, I think, Henry Hyde Villiers
(born 1931), a descendant of the 4th son of the 4th Earl, who has two
living sons (of three).

The 7th Earl of Clarendon died 4 July, 2009. He was aged 76. George
Frederick Laurence Hyde Villiers, 7th Earl of Clarendon, was b 2 Feb
1933, son and heir of George Herbert Arthur Edward Hyde Villiers,
styled Lord Hyde (b. 6 May 1906; dvp. 27 Apr 1935), who mar. 18 Apr
1932 Hon Marion Feodorovna Louise Glyn CVO, Woman of the Bedchamber To
Queen Elizabeth later Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother 1937-61 and
Extra Woman 1961-70 (d. 13 Dec 1970), 1st dau. of Frederic [Glyn], 4th
Baron Wolverton, by his wife Lady Edith Amelia Ward CBE, only dau. by
his second wife of William [Ward], 1st Earl of Dudley. Succeeded to
the peerages 13 Dec 1955, on the demise of his grandfather, the 6th
Earl of Clarendon, KG, GCMG, GCVO, PC (1877-1955); married.17 Jul 1974
Jane Diana Dawson, dau. of Edward William Dawson, of The Old Rectory,
Idmiston, Salisbury, co. Wiltshire; he is succeeded by his son George
Edward Laurence Villiers, styled Lord Hyde, Page of Honour to Queen
Elizabeth II 1988-90 (b. 12 Feb 1976).

And I see Henry Hyde Villiers became a grandfather again last year
(can't find a record of this in our database):

Octavius Villiers
On 9th September, at the Portland Hospital, to Millicent (née Wilner)
and Robert, a son, Octavius Jacob Hyde, a brother for Beatrix and
Abraham.

place at the Guards Chapel Wellington Barracks on Sept 17 2009 at
noon.
