BARCLAY
Sir Colville Herbert Sanford, 1st September, aged 97 years. Peacefully
at Dower House Nursing Home, Headbourne Worthy, Hants. Devoted and
loyal husband for 61 years to Rosamond, much loved father and
grandfather. Family funeral.

He was the son of the Rt Hon Sir Colville Adrian de Rune BARCLAY KCMG
CB CMG MVO (1869-1929), 3rd son of 11th baronet, and Sarita Enriqueta
(1895-1985, having m 2nd 1st & last Baron Vansittart) dau of Henry
Ward. He m 1949 Rosamond Grant Renton dau of Dr Walter Armstrong
ELLIOTT, and had three sons, the eldest of whom succeeds him.

Sir ROBERT COLRAINE BARCLAY 15th Bt FCA (has yet to establish his
claim to the title. Resident in Brazil), Born 12 Feb 1950; m 1980 (div
1986) Lucilia dau of Carlos Saboia de ALBUQUERQUE of Ipanema, Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil, and had issue:

marriage recorded

DAUGHTER LIVING
Caroline Saboia BARCLAY b 1983; no marriage recorded

Colville Edwin Ward BARCLAY b 1956; m 1992 Fiona Mary dau of Robin
Bell, of Coopers Green, Uckfield, Sussex, and had a son: Frederick
