Jean Denham, née McCorquodale, died at home on 19 November 2024, surrounded by family and dogs, widow of Bertram, 2nd Baron, mother of Jocelyn, Richard, Harry and George, grandmother of Diana, Edmund and Charlotte. Cremation to be held at Crownhill Crematorium, Milton Keynes, on Monday, 9 December.

widow of Bertram Stanley Mitford Bowyer, suc 1948 as 2nd Lord Denham, suc 1950 as 10th Bt. of the 1660 creation.

Her mother-in-law was Hon. Daphne Freeman-Mitford, aunt of the famous Mitford sisters.
