Born 6 June 1931; died 13 January 2010, 2nd s of Capt Alexander Henry
Maxwell-Hyslop GC RN (of the LG family HYSLOP formerly of Lotus) and
Cecilia Joan BAYLY (Lady of the Manor of Sheepstor, Devon, LG family
formerly of Torr). Sir Robin is survived by his wife Joanna (Anna)
Margaret (dau of Thomas McCOSH) and two daus (very distantly in line
to the Herries lordship - so distant they're not recorded in the
Peerage refernce books). His first Hyslop ancestor married a
descendant of the brother of the 7th Lord Herries & 3rd Earl of
Nithsdale. The Lordship is now held by the eld dau of 16th Duke of
Norfolk. Sir Robin's elder brother, Alexander Bayly (b 1929) m a scion
of the Armstrong Bts (cr UK 1841 of Gallen Priory, King's County).

Sir Robert John (Robin) on 13th January 2010, aged 78. Beloved husband
of Anna and father of Katherine and Jane. Member of Parliament for
Tiverton from 1960 to 1991. Funeral on Monday, 25th January at St.
Mary's Church, Silverton at 12 noon. Family flowers only please.
